CBSE Board Latest Updates

Our Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal had an online interaction with students, teachers, parents and other stakeholders on 10th December 2020 regarding CBSE board exams and other exams. Now on 17th December 2020, Ramesh Pokhriyal will interact online with teachers to discuss the upcoming board exams.

In this meeting, Ramesh Pokhriyal hasn’t announced any dates regarding JEE, NEET and CBSE exams but he has informed students regarding ministry plans for all exams.

The ministry plans are clear that the exams will be conducted in 2021 and asked students to be prepared for the exams. There were rumours that the exams may be cancelled due to corona but now it has been cleared that the exams will be held.

CBSE latest Good News

There is good news for class 10th and class 12th students that they will be informed in advance so that they can get enough time to prepare for the exams.

Also, the syllabus has been reduced and the students can easily prepare for the exams. CBSE board exams can be expected to be held in March-April 2021.

CBSE Board Exam dates

He also assured that the practical exams will also be held and they will not clash with any entrance exams. Further, he added that the practical exams will be held in school labs and if the normal classes resume then only these practice exams will be taken.

If due to this pandemic, Some students will not be able to give practical exams from school then an alternative will be introduced.

The CBSE Board exams will be held for sure but there is no compulsion that the exams will be held in March 2021. As you, all aware of the pandemic and the situation is becoming worse day by day.

The final exams dates will be announced by keeping all factors in mind. The exams can be extended.

Other Exams latest Updates

There has been a lot of changes in the CBSE board syllabus for class 10th students and class 12th students and with the new exam pattern, students can prepare for the exams easily.

The syllabus of JEE 2021 will also remain the same but there is a proposal made and according to this proposal, students may be given choice to attempt 75 questions out of 90 questions.

There is no plan to postpone NEET exams. As you know, many students missed the NEET exam due to COVID-19 pandemic. So as of now, we are planning to take these exams offline but if students want to take this exam in online mode then we can also opt for that.

It will be very interesting to watch the webinar on 17th December and there can be a lot of decisions can be made for conducting CBSE Board exams and other exams.
