Indian Navy

It is the naval branch of the Indian armed forces. The headquarter of the Indian navy is in the new Delhi. The colour of the navy dress will be navy blue and white. The Navy day is celebrated on 4th December.

Join Indian Navy After 10+2

You can join the Indian Navy after 12th by these exams.

NDA

You can join the Indian Navy after 12th by appearing for NDA examination. The exam is conducted twice in a year by UPSC and this exam is a national level exam.

  • The age limit for this examination is 16.5 years to 19 years.
  • Only male candidates can apply for this examination.
  • It is a permanent commission job.
  • The mode of this examination is offline mode.
  • The total time duration for this examination is 5 hours out of which 2.5 hours are for mathematics(120 questions) and 2.5 hours for General Ability Test(150 questions).
  • The exam can be given in both English and Hindi Language.

10+2 Btech Cadet Entry

Boys who have passed their 10+2 with PCM (70% aggregates) can apply for this position. The candidates will be selected on the basis of your aggregates in 10+2.

  • The age limit for this exam is 16.5 years to 19 years.
  • Only male candidates can apply for this position.
  • It is also a permanent commission Job.
  • The Entry is opened twice a year.
  • The candidates will be selected on the basis of their percentage in 10+ 2 then after this on the basis of their performance in SSB.

Join Indian Navy after Graduation

CDSE

  • You can apply for the Indian Naval Academy through this exam.
  • The age limit for this exam is 19 years to 22 years.
  • Only male candidates can apply for this position.
  • The candidate’s marital status should be unmarried.
  • There will be three papers in this examination:
    • Mathematics
    • General Awareness
    • English
  • This job is a permanent commission job.
  • The exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

University Entry Scheme

  • You need to have a minimum of 60% marks in graduation.
  • The age limit for this scheme is 21 years to 24 years.
  • Both male and female can apply for this position.
  • The candidates are selected through the interview in colleges.
  • After the interview, you have to appear for SSB.

INET exam for Indian Navy

  • INET is the Indian Navy Entrance Test.
  • This exam is applicable for both short term commission and permanent commission.
  • The age limit for this exam is 21 years to 24 years.
  • INET exam is conducted twice in a year.
  • It is a computer-based written multiple-choice exam.
  • There will be four different sections in this exam and you need to pass in each of these sections.
  • The four sections are:
    • Reasoning
    • Mathematics
    • General Knowledge
    • English
  • Only male candidates can apply for this post.

NCC Entry

  • The age limit for this exam is 19 years to 25 years.
  • Candidate should be graduate from a recognised university with 50% marks.
  • The candidate should have served for a minimum of 2 academic years in the senior division/wing of NCC.
  • Candidate should have obtained a minimum of a B grade in the ‘C’ certificate exam of NCC.
  • The Candidate should be unmarried and only male candidates are eligible to apply for this post.
